Workshops for AI mobile Robot

Robots are taking over more and more tasks from human. At home, it is common to have a robot cleaner to automatically vacuum the rooms. And robots that help monitor our elderly and children and even the environment around our house for fires and intrusions

Using Robot Operating System

These robots come with basic Artificial Intelligence to create the map of the home layout and navigate autonomously. New generation of robot helpers will be able to recognize family members, respond to voice commands, etc.

Home Robots

With the open source ROS (Robot Operating System), it is possible to build and develop such home mobile robots without developing the software from scratch.

These workshops will help students and makers to get started to develop their own AI mobile robots for home.

Generative Artificial Intelligence
(6 x 2-hour sessions)

GenAI Workshop for Secondary Students

  • Sparklife’s Generative AI Intro Workshop is a hands-on, six-session program designed to introduce Secondary 2-4 students to the transformative world of Artificial Intelligence.

  • With a blend of theory and playful experimentation, students will explore the basics of AI and machine learning, dig into neural networks, computer vision, and natural language processing, and dive deep into generative AI applications using tools like ChatGPT, Hugging Face, and Google’s Gemini.

  • From creating AI-generated art and chatbot ideation to understanding prompt engineering and building custom tools with Flowise, each session empowers students to think critically and creatively. Ethical considerations, such as misinformation and data sensitivity, are woven throughout to develop responsible digital citizens.

  • Whether through training a model to recognize dance moves or crafting a chatbot that answers weather queries, learners get to code, create, and present their own AI solutions—turning curiosity into capability.
